IBPOC Faculty & Staff Get Together: Celebrating Black History Month

Celebrate the last day of Black History Month with an IBPOC Faculty and Staff Get Together. Join together in solidarity with other IBPOC faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students to recognize and appreciate the achievements, impact and legacies of Black community members.

This is a casual space to (re)connect with other IBPOC community members at UBC while enjoying lunch and light refreshments.

This event is a collaboration between IBPOC @ UBCO and IBPOC Connections.

Please register by February 24.

What to expect

  • Connect in a casual space and strengthen your community with other IBPOC-identifying community members
  • Recognize and appreciate the contributions and impacts of Black community members
  • Enjoy lunch while mingling and expanding your networks

Who can join

This is a space for UBCO faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students who identify as Indigenous, Black, Person of Colour and/or racialized community members to build their support networks. We thank you for understanding and supporting this community initiative.
