Bio

Madison strives to foster an equitable and inclusive community at UBC Okanagan through the delivery of programs and initiatives that focus on mutual respect, diversity, and intercultural understanding.

Madison completed her BA in international relations and French at UBC Okanagan and MA in political science at the University of Toronto. Before joining the Equity and Inclusion Office, she worked as a project coordinator and policy analyst for an Indigenous self-government. Her passion for human rights has led to a multitude of experiences working on anti- discrimination and harassment initiatives, including Positive Space, Rule Out Racism, S.A.R.A. (Sexual Assault and Rape Awareness), Trans Day of Remembrance, Sciences Po Refugee Help, and many more.
