Culture(s) of Consent

Does consent sound and/or look different depending on who you are with and where you are?

Join us for a conversation with community activists, and UBC students, faculty, and staff, as we explore how consent is understood across diverse cultures and communities.

We’ll hear from our panel:

  • Michelle Cameron, advisor with the UBC Independent Investigations Office
  • Rachel Todd, UBC Okanagan residence advisor
  • Jennifer Gagnon, professor of political science, and a disability activist

Our host for the evening will be Alya Ramadan from CBC Radio’s Daybreak South.

The event is delivered in partnership between the UBC Equity & Inclusion Office and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office.
