Campus Security
UBC Okanagan Campus Security works to ensure the Okanagan campus is a safe place to work, study and reside. Our services include, but are not limited to: incident reporting, first aid, building or room access and Safewalk.
Sexual Violence and Prevention Office
The Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) is a confidential place for those who have been impacted by any form of sexual or gender-based violence, harassment, or harm, regardless of where or when it took place.
UBC Investigations Office
The Investigations Office (IO) responds to formal reports of sexual misconduct and discrimination involving UBC students, faculty, and staff through investigations and alternative resolution processes.
UBC Faculty Association
The UBC Faculty Association is committed to promoting the interests of UBC Faculty and UBC, upholding principles of academic freedom and freedom from discrimination and harassment.
Workplace Health & Wellbeing
The UBC Human Resources Workplace Health & Wellbeing team is actively involved in the creation of a safe community that encourages employee health and wellbeing.
Work Reintegration and Accommodation Program
The Work Reintegration and Accommodation Program (WRAP) is dedicated to assisting UBCO staff/faculty while they are away from work on medical leave. WRAP also works with our staff/faculty members to assist them during periods of injury and/or illness.

UBC Black Caucus
The mission of the UBC Black Caucus is to promote a greater sense of community, advocate progress and maintain ongoing support for Black students, staff, and faculty at UBC in an effort to enhance anti-racism and cultural diversity within the University, and support the academic mission of the institution.
IBPOC @ UBCO
IBPOC @ UBCO seeks to build community and social connection amongst IBPOC-identifying staff and faculty through regular casual gatherings.
IBPOC Stem Network: Women and Gender-diverse faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students
The IBPOC Women/Gender-Diverse Persons STEM Network is a response to these considerations as an affinity space for mentorship and support. Network programming is focused on enhancing wellbeing, cultivating a greater sense of belonging, building greater self-efficacy, supporting retention and initiatives that mobilize justice, equity, decolonization, Indigenization and inclusion within units.
Positive Space Committee
Positive Space Committee is comprised of and open to interested 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied faculty, staff, and students. The committee meets monthly and functions as a social space and advisory body on initiatives that support inclusion of 2SLGBTQIA+ community members.
Disability Affinity Group
The Disability Affinity Group provides an opportunity for faculty and staff living with disabilities to regularly meet and build a community of support, learning, and solidarity. In addition to building a supportive and inclusive community, the group enables participants to share knowledge, strategies, and resources that can be applied to their own experiences as disabled staff and faculty.
